A mother has joined forces with a theme park to create Scotland’s first festival dedicated to families with children who have additional support needs (ASN). The event at M&D's at Strathclyde Park is designed to be inclusive and accessible and promises a full day of fun on Saturday, September 6. ‌

Natalie Chateau, from Eaglesham , is the driving force behind the project. Her seven-year-old son, Jack, lives with autism , is non-verbal, and has VACTERL syndrome. ‌

Inspired by his journey, Natalie launched the Glasgow ASN Mummy social media account to support families like hers. More recently, she established a charity of the same name in honour of Jack and other children with ASN. ‌
