WALTHAM, Mass. (WWLP) - A restaurant that offers traditional Mexican recipes was named the best hole-in-the-wall restaurant in Massachusetts by a popular food blog.

On Sunday, Food Republic released its list of the best hole-in-the-wall restaurants for every state. In Massachusetts, Taqueria El Amigo in Waltham took the spot that offers a variety of food with rich flavors such as tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and tamales.

They provide high-quality ingredients in a small place and have become a must-visit when in the area. The restaurant is located at 196 Willow Street near the Charles River.
