ALLENDALE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Two cars were stolen from a Grand Valley State University parking lot earlier this week, campus police said.
It happened early Tuesday morning, according to the Grand Valley Police Department. The cars were parked in Lot D at GVSU's Allendale campus.
"Suspects, who were seen on surveillance cameras pulling on door handles at 4 a.m., fled at high speed when Grand Valley Police arrived on scene," the department wrote in a release. "They were driving a vehicle reported stolen from a neighboring community."
Afterward, police said they discovered that the two cars had been taken from the parking lot. Police have found one of the cars; the other was still missing as of Tuesday afternoon.
