FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A man died after running a stop sign near Kerman on Tuesday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP says at 5 p.m., officers responded to a crash at the intersection of Goldenrod and Belmont avenues.
Investigators with the California Highway Patrol say a Nissan Sentra, driven by an unidentified man, was going northbound on Goldenrod Avenue approaching a posted stop sign at Belmont Avenue.
A Toyota Tundra, driven by a 54-year-old man, was going westbound on Belmont Avenue, which does not have a stop sign..
According to CHP, the driver of the Nissan failed to stop at the posted stop sign. The Tundra crashed into the right side of the Nissan.
