Tributes have been paid to a 'larger-than-life' man who tragically died in a crash in Aberdeenshire .

Emergency services were called to the scene of a collision involving a blue Honda CRB motorcycle and a white Volkswagen Touareg on the A97 Glenkindie to Kildrummy road near Alford .

Paramedics attended at around 4pm on Sunday, August 24, with the driver and one of the passengers of the Volkswagen, a 28-year-old woman and a 56-year-old woman, treated for minor injuries.

The 29-year-old motorbike rider was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. He has now been named by police as Dylan Boon from Ellon , with his family paying a heartfelt tribute.
