Visitors to Davidson County generated a record $11.2 billion in spending in 2024, representing a 4.17 percent increase from the 2023 figure.
According to newly released data from industry journal Tourism Economics and the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development, visitors collectively spent an average of $30.7 million per day in Nashville, helping fuel business growth, tax revenues and jobs.
Davidson County ranks number one in the state in visitor spending. The visitor spending figures of the next four counties – Shelby, Sevier, Knox and Hamilton – would need to be combined to exceed the $11.2 billion visitors spent in Nashville.
