Police are looking for a 20-year-old St. Catharines man for a historical sexual assault of a girl.

In July, detectives in the Niagara Regional Police sexual assault and child abuse units bean investigating allegations that a female youth was sexually abused by a man known to her.

Though police called the assault a historical offence, they did not indicate when it was alleged to have occurred.

Police identified the suspect as Charlie Ryan. He is wanted for sexual assault and sexual interference.

Police are asking for the public’s help in finding him.

Anyone with information is asked by police to call 905-688-4111 , option 3, ext. 1008430. Information can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or online at CrimeStoppersNiagara.ca .
