EAST HARLEM, Manhattan (PIX11) -- An innocent bystander was shot and killed in East Harlem on Wednesday afternoon, sources tell PIX11 News.
The 69-year-old woman was shot in the face at the intersection of 110th Street and Madison Avenue just before 12:30 p.m., sources say.
The woman was rushed to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead sources familiar with the investigation told PIX11.
Authorities are on the search for the gunman and are continuing to investigate the shooting.
