There is some great news for those that have missed recreating on Ute Tribal land. The Ute Tribe Fish and Wildlife Department announced this week that the Ute Indian Tribe has officially lifted the moratorium temporarily imposed on non-member fishing, camping, and boating. “Permits are now available for sale to the public at the Ute Plaza and Ute Petroleum,” shares the announcement. “The 2025 Ute Tribe fishing, camping, and boating proclamation can be found on the Ute Tribe Website at www.UteTribe.com .” Please direct any questions regarding permits for non tribal members to the Ute Tribe Fish and Wildlife Department at 435-722-5511.
