WAYZATA, Minn. — Twin Cities Catholic schools have gone into lockdown after a mass shooting that left two victims dead at Annunciation Church in Minneapolis.

The Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis reportedly issued an alert Wednesday asking schools to go into lockdown and contact parents. Unity Catholic High School in Burnsville and Visitation School in St. Paul confirmed lockdowns.

Plymouth Police and Wayzata Public Schools are also investigating a threat Wednesday morning.

In an email to families, Superintendent Chace Anderson said that Plymouth Police are investigating a "vague and unsubstantiated threat" against Wayzata Public Schools.
