Marc Serré has turned a big page.
The former Liberal MP has taken a new position with the Municipality of Markstay-Warren . And he is really excited about it.

In July, Serre joined the community as its new chief administrative officer and clerk.
“The reason this was a nice fit was because of my experience as an MP,” he said.
But he is prepared to be challenged. Serre said “there is a lot of frustration out there,” from municipal politicians, as well as members of the public.
“Local governments have been downloaded, so mayors and councils are responsible for all the emergency (response units) and housing, yet municipalities don’t get the financial support from the federal government or the province,” Serre pointed out. “But they get all the complaints.”
