ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - The man accused of killing an off-duty Florissant-Valley campus officer in 2008 has posted bond.

Brandon M. Levy, 46, is charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of Demond Taylor, 34. Days after his arrest, court records showed that Levy had posted 10% of the $50,000 bond.

On June 20, 2008, Taylor was found shot inside a car while waiting at a red light in the 5100 block of Page Boulevard.

Levy’s criminal history includes a guilty plea for marijuana possession in 1994 in Platte County and a 2004 guilty plea to operating a vehicle without a valid license in St. Louis.
