SAN ANTONIO — Another holiday weekend is upon us as South Texas begins counting down the days to the start of fall and cooler temperatures . What can we expect for those with outdoor plans on Labor Day?

Much has been made of the weak cold front that will push through Texas on Friday afternoon. It will spark off scattered rain and a few thunderstorms across Central Texas. That rain coverage will gradually push south into the San Antonio area, keeping an active pattern of scattered showers and isolated storms in place through Labor Day.
