Functional Performance, a non-profit fitness program in Erie, received a donation from Auto Express through the JET24/FOX66 Loving Giving Local initiative to support its mission of empowering individuals with disabilities.
Located at 1311 Chestnut Street, Functional Performance was established in 2019 to provide fitness opportunities for people with limited abilities. The program aims to be inclusive, offering workouts tailored to individuals who may have experienced a stroke, are missing a limb, or use a wheelchair.
"We created a program to make it more inclusive and to make sure everybody can find a way to work out," said Jeff Gibbens, co-founder of Functional Performance and owner of FBO Fitness.
