SCHAGHTICOKE, N.Y. (NEWS10)— It’s a Capital Region end of the summer kickoff. The Schaghticoke Fair is back for its 206th year where they have everything from live music to food favorites.
Even after 206 years, locals in the community don't get tired of the fair and in fact look forward to it too.
“We've been coming here for years. It's always been such a good event.” There are all sorts of activities for kids of all ages. So were making it a tradition,” said Kate Dunnigan, attendee at the event.
Dunnigan also mentioned how she thinks this is the perfect spot for such an event especially with having five kids.
“What I like about it is the location. So, it's kind of isolated, so, I don't worry so much about security or any type of risk like that," said Dunnigan. "There's just a wide var
