New York City jewelers insisted Wednesday that Travis Kelce could have paid a much lower price for Taylor Swift’s massive engagement ring if the football star visited Midtown’s famous Diamond District.

“They should have called me! I would have given them half that price. I like the football player, I like his brother [Jason Kelce] who used to play for the Eagles, too,” Luminous Diamonds owner Bobby Samanoglu, 72, said a day after the famous couple announced their engagement. 5
