GREENVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) -- A site that has sat vacant for nearly 30 years will soon be the home of a new mixed-use development in downtown Greenville.

City leaders said that Greenville City Council recently approved the Gateway Project, which includes improved sidewalks, crosswalks, landscaping, a public plaza and art gallery.
