The Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation has good news for keen swimmers and outdoor pool lovers.
Due to the continued warm, summery weather, the park board extends the season at Kitsilano Pool by an extra week.
The original closing day on Tuesday, September 2, has now been pushed to Sunday, September 7.
The Board of Parks and Recreation says it made “necessary operational and staffing adjustments,” which include slightly different opening hours.
Over the extended five days, the pool is open from 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and then again from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The last opening slot will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
