KANSAS CITY, Mo. —

When the Huskers take the field on Thursday night it will be a full circle moment for a few of them.

Nebraska defensive back Jamir Conn, the Southern Illinois transfer, grew up in Kansas City.

He went to Lee Summit High School, where he dreamed of playing at a power program like Nebraska.

Husker freshman running back Isaiah Mozee also played high school football at Lee Summit North.

His dad, Jamar, is a senior analyst for the Huskers.
