EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Judge-Executive, Curtis Dame, took to social media tonight in need of the community’s help.

Dame says the Beech Grove Water System is in the process of getting a larger water storage tank.

He says they’re working on applying for grants to fund the project.

Dame says they’re looking for customers who would be willing to sign a petition in support of these efforts.

He says the more signature support they have the the more it will help their chances of approval for the grant money.

Signatures are being collected now until Friday.

You can stop by the water office on Highway 56 to sign.
