Chattanooga native Ace Bailey is already giving back to his hometown!

The Utah Jazz rookie recently visited his middle school alma mater at Dalewood Middle after donating a new outdoor basketball court for the school.

Bailey went to Dalewood Middle before attending one year of high school at Boyd-Buchanan. He would then transfer to McEachern High School in Powder Spring, GA to finish his high school education.

Bailey took time to visit his former middle school where they held an assembly for him. His former Dalewood jersey was on display. The City of Chattanooga also presented him with a proclamation declaring it “Ace Bailey Day.”

The outdoor court Bailey donated is aimed at giving students a place to play and grow their love of the game of basketball.

Bailey was drafted fifth overall
