Bristol man charged after Class A drugs seized

A man from Bristol has been named and charged with drug offences after police carried out a warrant at a property in the city.

Kevin Coyle, of Catherine Mead Street in Bedminster has been charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs, namely heroin and crack cocaine, and two counts of possession of an offensive weapon.

The 45-year-old appeared at Bristol Magistrates' Court yesterday (Wednesday, August 27) where he was remanded into custody.

He is due to appear at Bristol Crown Court on October 1.

Police officers carried out a Misuse of Drugs Act warrant at a property in Bedminster on Tuesday (August 26) where a quantity of class A drugs and other items were found.
