DOUGLASVILLE, Ga. — Buffalo Wild Wings will pay almost $50,000 to settle a lawsuit at its Douglasville restaurant that was filed by a job applicant alleging religious discrimination because she had been mocked and told her long skirts were "unusual" for a sports bar.

The woman, according to the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, wore long skirts in public "because of her sincerely held religious beliefs." When she asked the general manager at the Douglasville Buffalo Wild Wings about an opening, the EEOC said the general manager told her they were indeed hiring but "mocked the candidate's religious beliefs."
