SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The Springfield License Commission has denied a liquor license application for Antojos, a popular restaurant in the Six Corners area, following opposition from State Representative Bud Williams.

The decision to deny the liquor license comes after Representative Williams sent a formal letter opposing the application, citing concerns about the restaurant's proximity to schools and churches. Antojos, known for its acai bowls and Latin American treats, had planned to open a separate bar area with monitored alcoholic drinks.
