LEBANON, Tenn. (WSMV) - A family had to move out of their Lebanon apartment after coming home from a trip to find everything covered in mold.

Addie Scanlan Woodson said she knew something was wrong when they got home from visiting family last month and found mold mites all over their kitchen. Things only got worse when they looked in the bedroom and found their clothes covered with green and white fuzz.

She asked management at the Hartman Plantation Apartments to fix it, but Scanlan Woodson said they claimed nothing was wrong. The family then hired their own environmental test company that found a lot of problems, like some mold levels that were around five times higher than normal levels.
