A man has been arrested for allegedly embezzling tools valued at over $500,000 from a North Haven medical-surgical manufacturing facility, according to police.
Authorities said they were notified of the alleged theft in June and after an investigation, a 37-year-old Branford man was arrested.

Investigators said the man misused his purchasing authority to purchase hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of tools.
He was taken into custody on Friday and is facing charges including larceny, computer crimes and tampering with physical evidence.
