ATLANTA — More than 150 dads and their children came together Saturday morning for a walk focused on mental health and community connection.
The event took place at The Works on Atlanta’s Upper Westside. It was hosted by the Daddy Stroller Social Club (DSSC) — a growing national group that creates space for fathers to bond and support one another through shared walks and open conversations.
The Atlanta chapter, launched in May, held its first walk in July. Saturday marked its largest turnout yet.
“We have kids from ages 0 all the way to 12 right now. We also have grandfathers who are out here,” said Myer Krah, who leads the Atlanta chapter of DSSC. “This is just a chance to meet, talk about the trials and the tribulations of fatherhood, the easy, the hard, the joys and everything in
