LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

From the food to the vendors and live performances, thousands have packed WorldFest over Labor Day weekend, and organizers say they expect more than 150,000 attendees in the festival’s 23rd year.

For more than two decades, WorldFest has been a celebration of cultures from around the globe.

“It’s an amazing event that brings all walks of life, all different cultures together for one weekend to celebrate with some amazing food, music,” said Joey Wagner, WorldFest event producer.

The four-day festival features more than 160 food and craft vendors, plus hands-on activities and authentic music from around the world. For many, the draw is simple: to try something new.
