It's been since August 19th since Louisville saw measurable rainfall. That's 13 days (almost 2 full weeks!) leading up to today! Needless to say, we could really use some rain in our area. Drought is starting to settle in because of our lack of rain. Here's the latest US Drought Monitor from this past Thursday. Since we still haven't had rain since then, this has probably worsened some.
The good thing is that we finally have some rain chances in our area today through Friday. The downside to that is that it will not treat everyone equally, meaning some will be left out. Let's dive into today's chance first.
With a low pressure in Tennessee, it has increased our humidity just enough today to get a few downpours going, especially south of I-64 (closer to the low in TN).
