MIDDLETON, Wis. -- The Dane County Medical Examiner identified a motorcyclist who died following a crash on the Beltline on Monday morning.

Tyler K. Lind, 20, of Gilman, Wis died following crash on eastbound US Highway 12 and Airport Road in Middleton.

Lind was pronounced dead at the scene. A forensic examination was completed at the medical examiner's office on Tuesday. Preliminary results of the examinations showed Lind died from injuries sustained in the crash. Additional testing is underway.

This death remains under investigation by the City of Middleton Police Department, The Dane County Sheriff’s Department, and the Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office.
