MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the person killed in a car vs. motorcycle crash in Middleton on Monday.

The individual was identified as Tyler K. Lind, 20, of Gilman.

The Medical Examiner’s Office said Lind was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on Highway 12 eastbound and Airport Road in Middleton.

The Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that Lind died from injuries he suffered in the crash. Additional testing is still underway.

City of Middleton Police Department, the Dane County Sheriff’s Department, and the Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office continue to investigate the death.

The crash shut down the eastbound lanes of the Beltline for several hours.
