The Regional Development Association (RDA) produced no official action Tuesday evening, after a special session meant to address the search for a Presidential candidate.

According to Jeff Williams, RDA Board Chair, there are no candidates for the position ready to announce.

“There's just been a lot going on in this community and so some of that has made it harder to get some candidates that want to move here,” Williams said. “That being said, it's a great community. We all believe in this community, and we will get the best person for it.”

The RDA has not had a permanent leader since Chuck Scott, former RDA President, was put on administrative leave in December of 2023. Both Jim Witt and Lyle Butler have served as Interim Presidents.
