VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — A Portuguese man o' war — these venomous marine creatures have been spotted in Virginia Beach.
When they washed up in the Resort City, a lot of people were surprised. That includes the staff of the Virginia Aquarium and Marine Science Center.
10 On Your Side caught up with staff working at the aquarium to learn more about what exactly a Portuguese man o' war is, learning it would potentially be more fitting to call them "men o' war," because multiple organisms make up the creature.
