FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Police are investigating a crash involving a construction worker on Fort Wayne’s west side on Wednesday morning.

The crash happened in the 2400 block of W. Jefferson Boulevard, near W. Main Street.

Authorities say a construction worker was hit by a van while taking measurements in the roadway.

Police on scene say the worker was taken to a local hospital in serious condition.
