ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - A Forest Hill man was arrested in Alexandria on multiple charges, according to the Alexandria Police Department.

Martavious Lee , 24, was arrested on September 2 in the 5800 block of Starling Circle for aggravated assault with a firearm, possession with intent to distribute marijuana (2.5 lbs or more) and three counts of possession of a firearm in the presence of drugs.

“Every time we take guns and drugs off the streets, we’re making Alexandria a safer place for our families,” said APD Chief Chad Gremillion. “This arrest is a clear example of the dedication our officers show each day in confronting dangerous situations head-on. We will continue to stand firm against those who choose to bring violence and illegal drugs into our community.”
