BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - A semi-truck carrying corn overturned in Woodburn Wednesday causing a roadway to be shutdown and traffic re-routed.

The accident happened just before 1p.m. near 2286 Woodburn Allen Springs Road.

Warren County Sheriff’s Office and Woodburn Fire Department responded to the scene. We’re told one person suffered minor injuries.

It’s unclear exactly what lead to the accident. By 1:20p.m. crews had already gotten the truck upright, but corn remained on the road.

Drivers are being asked to avoid the area while cleanup is underway.
