A 45-year-old man is accused of stabbing a food delivery driver in the Back Bay, according to police who called the incident a “road rage stabbing.”

Randolph man Byron Alexander has been arrested, and he was set to be charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Boston police officers responded to a report of a stabbing near 10 Huntington Ave., on Tuesday at about 10:36 p.m.

Officers found a man inside a vehicle, suffering from multiple stab wounds. Officers provided first aid until Boston EMS arrived and transported the man to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

According to initial reports, the man and a passenger were delivering food to an address on Beacon Street — when they parked in front of another vehicle.
