BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- Bakersfield police are working to clear encampments by the bike path near Allen Road on Wednesday.

The Bakersfield Police Department's Impact Team is working to clear encampments near Allen Road and Ming Avenue on Sept. 3, according to officials.

The Impact Team was seen in the area around 9 a.m.

It is unknown if anyone was arrested during the operation.
