COLUMBIANA, Ohio (WKBN) - It's a local tradition that dates all the way back to the late 1800s.
Crews were setting up rides and food stands Wednesday to get ready for the opening of the 138th Columbiana Street Fair.
The event is run by Post 290 of the American Legion in town and has only missed two years, once during World War II and during the COVID-19 lockdown.
Organizers say many of the vendors and attractions are coming here from recent county fairs in the area.
"We have good food coming from both Stark and Canfield. And then our rides are coming from Kissle Amusements, the ride company from the Stark County fair.
