A Searcy man was arrested last week on 60 counts of possessing, distributing or viewing child sexual abuse material, police said Wednesday.

Quentin Whaley, 37, was arrested around 1:54 p.m. Friday at his home after police received a complaint and initiated an investigation, Searcy Police Lt. Todd Wells said in an email. Wells didn't provide details about the complaint.

Whaley was being held in the White County jail on Wednesday on a $150,000 bond. He is set to appear in White County Circuit Court on Nov. 4.
