FARGO — A national restaurant chain is giving back to a Fargo fitness initiative.
On Wednesday, Sept. 3, the Buffalo Wild Wings Foundation donated $11,500 to the Fargo Able Games, an inclusive fitness program founded by Fargo native Connor McGovern.
The donation will help evolve programming designed to create an environment where people of all abilities can participate in fitness. McGovern said the funding also helps expand outreach into local schools.
"When Able in Schools gets into the schools, then those students get more access to the games, and then the more communities we're in at schools, the more games we can have and the more lives we can affect," McGovern said.
McGovern added that the Able Games event format will change when it returns in November 2026.
