NORMAN — Oklahoma will have to keep its emotions in check when it faces Michigan Saturday night on Owen Field.
Yes, it’s an exciting matchup of ranked blue bloods. ESPN College GameDay is in town and the game will be carried on ABC. OU has the chance to pick up steam going into its second season in the Southeastern Conference.
OU head coach Brent Venables, who has won three national championships as a defensive coordinator, confirmed he still gets amped up for these kinds of contests. But, the energy surrounding the game can’t overtake the importance of execution.
