HAMILTON TOWNSHIP — Three people were seriously injured after two cars collided Thursday near Atlantic City International Airport, police said.

A 2008 Mercedes C300 driven by Taniya Deal, 20, of Atlantic City, was traveling east on Tilton Road just before noon when she crossed the centerline into oncoming traffic, striking a 2019 Toyota Tacoma driven by Stephen Bouchard, 66, of Egg Harbor City.

Bouchard was flown via helicopter to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus. Deal and her front sear passenger, Shayniyah Reynolds, 30, of Atlantic City, were transported to AtlantiCare via ambulance.

Traffic was diverted for several hours while police investigated. The investigation is ongoing.
