At least 1 in hospital after North Omaha shooting, OPD says

Officials with the Omaha Police Department say at least one person is injured after a shooting late Thursday.

Shortly before 10 p.m. Thursday, police officers were called to the shooting near 42nd Street and Bedford Avenue.

In a statement, OPD reports the victim was believed to be taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Man injured following cutting near Midtown Omaha

One man is in the hospital after a cutting north of Omaha’s Midtown area Thursday night.

According to a statement from the Omaha Police Department, the cutting happened near 46th and Cuming streets just before 10 p.m. Thursday.
