VISALIA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A newly renovated park in Visalia is officially open to the community after a ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday morning.
Officials say Harrell Grove Park has been refreshed with a series of upgrades aimed at creating long-term benefits for residents.
The improvements include: • new outdoor fitness equipment • upgraded irrigation systems • drought-tolerant landscaping
The renovations were made possible through a fund donated in honor of the late Robert and Kay Harrell, a local couple whose family roots stretch back generations in Visalia.
City officials hope the updates will encourage residents to use the park for both recreation and wellness, while ensuring the space remains sustainable in the years ahead.
The park is located at 2604 E St Johns Pkwy in
