YUMA, AZ (AZFamily) — Weather in the Phoenix area stayed quiet on Thursday, but that was not the case for many others across the state.
Hundreds of customers are without power in the Yuma area after storms rolled through Thursday evening, and Yuma residents are asked to stay inside due to hazardous damage.
As of 8 a.m. on Friday, APS reported about 700 customers in the Yuma area without power. An overnight outage was reported in Williams, but all power was restored by 8 a.m.

The Yuma Fire Department reported several downed power lines, fallen trees and flooding across the city. Crews worked overnight to respond to emergencies and continue the repair work on Friday morning.
