GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - Alachua County Sheriff’s officials arrested a man Wednesday who is being held on an $800,000 bond and is accused of stealing a car and a gun.

Deputies say 43-year-old Elliot Lamb stole the car the same day he was arrested. They pulled Lamb over while he was driving the car down Southwest Archer Road near Gainesville.

They found a gun they say was also stolen inside of Lamb’s car.

Lamb has already been arrested on charges of driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license.

Lamb is currently being held on an $800,000 bond for grand theft charges.
