CLACKAMAS COUNTY, Ore. — One of the men arrested after allegedly using a stolen excavator to steal cash from a Clackamas bank's ATM has pleaded guilty.

In Clackamas County Circuit Court on Friday, 33-year-old Matthew Evan Armour pleaded guilty to first-degree aggravated theft, two counts of first-degree criminal mischief and two counts of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was sentenced to 55 months in prison; as part of the plea agreement, other charges were dismissed.

The charges stem from a June 23 incident, in which deputies responded to an early morning burglary at a U.S. Bank branch at 11521 Southeast Sunnyside Road. There, near the ATM drive-through, they found an abandoned excavator that was still running; the suspects had bypassed a code for its keycard.
