PUXICO, Mo. (KFVS) - The U.S. Geological Survey reports that a 2.8 magnitude earthquake shook the southeast corner of Missouri.

The earthquake epicenter was just over three miles southwest of Puxico.

The event happened just after 8:30 p.m. on Friday.

More than 30 people filled out the USGS “Felt Report” for the survey.
