Spirit Square lived up to its name on Aug. 23 with young entrepreneurs who were all a part of the “Spirited Kids Market” that was hosted by Alberni Clayoquot Community Futures.
The organization paid for the children’s tables and gave them items and assistance to help with their tables.
Emily Bradley, 11, received a rainbow loom last year for Christmas and since then she has been prolific in making many items, from fridge magnets to bracelets.
Brody Chattaway, 12, and his sister Melody, 4, made clay items, fishing lures, dried flower arrangements just to name a few.
Ffion Danieluk, 7, made some lovely jewellery.
Those are just a few of the many that participated and were part of the Saturday Farmers Market in Spirit Square.
